Learning guitar in a group can be a great way to gain confidence, make friends, and learn at a fast pace. The difference between guitar class and learning in private lessons is that in guitar class, you learn to play the guitar. In private lessons, you learn to understand guitar.
Here are some things that we will be covering in all of our guitar classes:
- Understanding the notes and how to play them
- Reading music
- Improvising in music
- Learning chords and the different ways to play them
- Learning to play scales and what chords belong to those scales
- How to play in a group and how to play solo
- Performing as a group (At the end of every class we do a performance to display our ability)
